What does mind-body-spirit healing mean?
It is looking at the WHOLE you - mind, body and spirit - when addressing your ongoing issues. We are more than just our physical body and to achieve long, lasting healing, we need to address how our emotions and past experiences may also be connected to our “stuckness”. When I started to address myself, from this "WHOLE self" perspective, is when I saw amazingly huge and lasting shifts take place in my health and well-being. See my story for more details.
How does Craniosacral Therapy (CST) work?
Like the pulse of your cardiovascular system, your craniosacral system has a rhythm you can feel throughout your body. Using a gentle touch, a skilled practitioner can monitor this rhythm at key points on your body and isolate an obstruction or source of stress. Once a source has been found, CST releases these tensions to allow your body to relax and self-correct. This simple action is often all it takes to remove a restriction and dissipate the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system. CST can be combined with other manual therapies to help restore your body to optimal function and comfort.

What is Energy Therapy?
Energy Therapy is based on the fact that our body is really one big energy system with many different electrical circuits that communicate with each other to keep us humming along.When our energy systems are open and flowing well, we typically feel good. But our energy circuits can get disrupted, sluggish or stuck for a variety of reasons, which can create physical and emotional symptoms. This can manifest as pain, illness, disease, allergies, fear, and anxiety to name of few. Energy therapy uses tools to address these imbalances, clear them, and allow the natural flow of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy to resume.
What is a session typically like?
Each session is unique and individual. It will depend on what your ongoing focus/intention is, which may change from session to session. We may focus the entire session on a craniosacral therapy treatment, energy therapy treatment or physical therapy rehab. Or we may combine a little of each. We will discuss the treatment plan together to determine what is best to support you on your own healing journey.
What should I wear to my session?
Comfortable and loose clothing is ideal. Shoes will typically be taken off before craniosacral therapy sessions.
Is there anything I need to do after receiving Craniosacral or Energy Therapy?
You will be asked to increase you water intake to promote further removal of any toxins released during the session. You may feel a little tired after a session, so having time to relax after is ideal, but not mandatory.
Does Energy Therapy interfere with religion/religious beliefs?
Energy Therapy focuses on releasing energy blocks in the body. There is nothing about it that is linked to or opposed to any type of religion. I completely honor each person’s religious and spiritual beliefs and never bring religion into our work unless specifically asked.
How long does a session last?
Typically, most sessions last 60 minutes. Initial visits include assessment and treatment. Longer sessions are available if it's decided that would be beneficial to deepen your healing experience. We will discuss a plan of care and decide together what best meets your needs.
How much does a session cost?
Most sessions are 60 minutes and cost $80. Initial visits typically include 10-15 minutes of evaluation and 45 minutes of hands-on treatment. The fee for the initial visit is $80. Is payment required at time of visit?
Yes. Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment.
Will my insurance pay for it?
No. Direct billing to insurance companies is not an available option. Cash and checks are acceptable forms of payment, which are to be paid at the time of service.
Do I need a doctor's referral to see you?
I am interested in just Physical Therapy, or Craniosacral Therapy or Energy Balancing Treatments, can I just use those services?
Yes. We can focus on just one of these services or combine them during any session.
Are appointments only available on-site? Are you available to conduct in-home sessions?
Sessions will take place on-site unless discussed otherwise. I will provide in-home sessions on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me for further information.
How often will i need to schedule a session?
The recommended frequency of visits will be depend on your individual situation. I will be able to recommend an ideal frequency after we meet, but it will be completely up to you and your financial situation as how to how often we meet. I also may be teaching you simple exercises/techniques (aka homework!) that you can continue to use to self-treat at home. I’m all about empowering you you to feel comfortable and inspired to work on your own to support your healing!
How will I know if these sessions are helping me?
You may notice subtle or significant shifts in your pain, mood, and stress levels after a treatment session. Some will notice these shifts after the first session and for others, it takes longer. Generally speaking, you should feel some positive progress by the third session.
Is it okay for with me to work with other practitioners at the same time?
Absolutely! Often the work we do together will help de-stress your body, which can often help your other treatments hold better and be more effective too!
