Often, we solely focus on fixing our physical symptoms to heal. We “fix" the physical symptom, and then we jump right back into the same old routine, which likely leads to our symptom(s) coming back.
Wouldn’t it be great to get to the root cause of your symptoms?!
True healing is multi-faceted....
We are more than just our physical bodies. When we neglect our emotional and spiritual health, we likely will stay unbalanced and not feeling well.
Pain and illness are how our bodies speak to us when they are not balanced. If we ignore the little messages, then they get louder and louder!!
If you are dealing with a chronic issue, your messages likely have gotten loud. I encourage you to explore what your body might be trying to say to you.
It can be such a game-changer when you begin to explore the quality of your emotional and spiritual well-being while you address your chronic pain, discomfort and other issues.
DISCLAIMER: I truly believe we all have the ability to heal ourselves!
Our bodies are truly miraculous and are designed to self-regulate what needs attention.
When we experience chronic stress, we often are stuck in a revved up state for long periods of time. Chronically staying in this flight-or-flight mode, wears down our well-being and immune system, and often is when we begin to notice symptoms and eventually seek medical attention.
The typical Western way of dealing with illness is we go to the doctor, wait for them to tell us what is wrong with us and what we should do about it. Often, the solution offered is to take a pill, or possibly surgery, and hope for the best. This can work okay (especially for acute conditions), but often, especially for chronic issues, this doesn’t get to the core of what is going on.
Following this typical type of treatment regime, basically keeps us in victim mode. We wait for others to tell us what to do... We blame others, and our environment for what is happening to us.... We basically feel like life is happening TO us and we just play defense.
This is where exploring your emotional and spiritual health can be so helpful and life changing!
Shifting your mindset and how you perceive your symptoms (as loving messages from your body) and situation can be very empowering!!
Once you start to shift your mindset, magical, miraculous healing can begin. It will empower and inspire you to dig deeper and get real with yourself.
Personally, I pushed and pushed my body to “do it all” much of my early adult life and I often never felt good enough. I didn’t listen to all the little messages my body was giving me. I wasn’t addressing all the negative thoughts I was consistently having (mostly about myself!), so my physical symptoms got really loud, and then I had no choice but to listen.

Deciding you are in charge of your healing (because you are!!) is amazingly powerful, but it definitely helps to have some support and guidance!
If this discussion about healing resonates with you, I would love to connect with you!
I have learned, and continue to learn, many techniques that support an integrative healing process. I would love to be part of your team and support you on your own healing journey!
